Letter: Warren’s wrong
I see on the local news that our senator, Elizabeth Warren, stood up in support of criminals recently.
I am referring, of course, to her standing up and showing her support and vowing to help illegal aliens. This is direct violation of her vow to uphold the Constitution of the United States when she took the oath of office. The Constitution is very clear when it comes to citizenship, and the United States has rules and regulations for the path to become a resident alien or a citizen of the United States. Any other stance is in conflict with these rules and regulations.
There are currently 11 million illegal aliens in the United States, and Sen. Warren has given them her support. This is not in keeping with the oath she took.
It has also been mentioned in these pages that she did not vote in accordance with her constituents when it came to the nomination of the new CIA director. I have said in these pages before the election that she is a hypocrite and will only do what the party tells her to do. So far she has been proving me correct. The only recourse is to vote her out of office at the next election, or with any luck, she will tender her resignations and make room for someone who will do the bidding of the people in the commonwealth and to actually uphold the laws of the United States.
Right. I won’t be holding my breath on either count.
Sen. Warren: there is a reason they are called “illegal” immigrants.
