I used to consider Scott Brown to be a decent mediocrity, but I have to say his negative attacks on Elizabeth Warren have changed my opinion. I really don’t care about her ethnicity and since when is being a professor something to be mocked?

I notice that mailings from Karl Rove’s and Grover Norquist’s Super Pacs have adopted the tactic and run with it. Too bad — I suspect the approach will be less effective in Massachusetts than in Fox Newsland.
