Letter: Share the road
What happens when one exits the church, the house or his/her apartment, gets in a vehicle and drives away?
Of course, we know we are not supposed to kill others. But, there is some subtlety, about our responsibility to others and to our country, town/city, family, ourselves, in short — community.
How many times while driving, did you stop at the stop sign, and wait? And wait, and wait? Maybe 10 cars went by, ignoring you. Motorists could slow up and allow you to exit. Consider that there are others who also have important duties to perform.
Please share the road. Never mind what others do; what do you think is appropriate? The message love thy neighbor as thyself could mean that we should share the way. Maybe we all could do better including me.
What! Who, me?
