Letter: A stranger’s kindness

On Friday, Jan. 31, around 11 a.m., I was driving down Seventh Street toward the canal bridge in Turners Falls, when I experienced car problems.

My car broke down just passed the curve near the old Railroad Salvage. A very kind gentleman came to my rescue. He pushed my car to the safety of a nearby parking lot, so that I would not be hit by oncoming cars rounding the curve.

I never knew his name, but he was an guardian angel this day. Thank you so much sir! I really appreciated all your help.
