Letter: Put Gleason on board
Greenfield schools have been on an upward trajectory for five years. Changes in administrative leadership, the School Committee and a faculty energized by innovative educational initiatives have contributed to student enrollment increasing from 1,430 in 2009 to 1,750 in 2013. This historically high enrollment brings over $1 million in state aid to Greenfield supporting a healthy school system that provides taxpayers and the community with a number of benefits.
I support open-minded, inclusive and productive members to serve on Greenfield’s School Committee, a critical link to successful educational experiences for the children and families of Greenfield. A productive committee encourages teachers, administrators, and families to join in and be part of the mission for positive change. Donna Gleason has stepped up as a write-in candidate bringing a positive attitude, years of experience, and an open mind toward continuing to improve Greenfield’s schools for all of our current and future families.
School progress and community support cannot happen without School Committee members who truly believe Greenfield schools can continue to improve and be innovative. Donna Gleason’s 35-year track record speaks for itself. She is the best choice this election for Greenfield School Committee. Please vote on June 25. Write in Donna Gleason.
