Letter: Helping bats

My name is Wylie. I am 10 years old. I am working with a group of kids trying to help bats. Bats are really struggling with a disease called white-nose syndrome. Bats play an extremely important role in our ecosystem. They re-seed important plants, and each one can eat up to 4,000 mosquitoes per night! We are having a family friendly event to raise money for bat research, and to teach people more about bats. It is on Saturday, April 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Discovery Center in Turners Falls. Please come! Thanks!
