Conway to vote on Frontier tennis courts June 16 at 7:30
CONWAY — The Frontier Regional School has one more town vote before it knows whether it can keep the school tennis courts open.
Town meeting will be asked to spend $4,455 in Community Preservation Act funds for Conway’s share of repairing the tennis courts, which are cracking.
The special town meeting is June 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Conway Grammar School.
The town is the last to vote. The other feeder schools, Deerfield, Whately and Sunderland, already approved their shares.
The school district requested $32,999 in Community Preservation Act money from its four towns.
The money, from a local property tax surcharge, can be used on recreation projects.
