Take an Art Walk  in Shelburne Falls  on Saturday night

SHELBURNE FALLS — Enjoy one more summer Saturday night in the village as shops, art galleries and local artists host special events during the last Art Walk of the season, from 4 to 8 p.m.

This is an event throughout Shelburne Falls, with decorative, hand-painted “art shoes” to guide visitors to places hosting special events.

Highlights of this quarterly event include:

∎  Exploration in musical sound at Molly Cantor Pottery, 20 Bridge St. Cantor is hosting a reception and exhibit of new works from pottery students. Musician Jeremy Starpoli will play original music.

∎  “This, That & The Other Thing,” new works by Candace Silver, at the Shelburne Arts Cooperative, 26 Bridge St. This includes a reception with the artist and performance by the Famous Crabgrass Band.

∎  “Manhattan Roof Tops,” the art of Ralph Lowen, at J.H. Sherburne Fine Art/Serious Whimsy at 40 State St. These are bird’s-eye views of New York City’s skyline, with some evoking the film noir era of the 1940s.

∎  “Night Scenes” from Adell Donaghue and “Colors of the Night” by Susan Tilton Pecora at the Salmon Falls Artisans Showroom on Ashfield Street. Refreshments will be served.

∎  Greenfield artist and writer Helene J. Powers has an exhibit of photos, stories and essays at McCusker’s Market, at 3 State St.

There will be live music by Brooklyn-based songwriter Zoe Sundra at Mocha Maya’s, Boswell’s Books and Shelburne Falls Booksellers will be open, and there’s a sale at Young and Constantine Gallery, 4 Deerfield Ave.

Many other shops will be open, along with the Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum. The event is hosted by the Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association.
