Several towns set Democratic caucus dates starting tonight

There are still several Franklin County towns that will see town Democratic Party caucuses in coming days.

The caucuses are to elect delegates and alternates to the 2014 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women. Any town resident who is registered as a Democrat is welcome to attend and run for a delegate position.

The 10 towns are:

∎ Sunderland, and Whately, today, 7 p.m. , Whately Elementary School, 273 Long Plain Road.

∎ Rowe, Feb. 22, 11 a.m., Rowe Town Hall, 321 Zoar Road.

∎  Heath, Feb. 22, 9 a.m., Heath Elementary School, 18 Jacobs Road.

∎ Shutesbury, Feb. 22, 10 a.m., Shutesbury Town Hall, 1 Cooleyville Road.

∎  New Salem, Feb. 23, 10 a.m., Stowell Building, 19 South Main St.

∎ Montague, Feb. 27, 7 p.m., Montague Town hall, second floor, 1 Avenue A.

∎  Ashfield, March 1, 10 a.m., Ashfield Town Hall, Main Street.

∎ Northfield, March 1, 9:30 a.m., Dickinson Memorial Library, 115 Main St.
