Greenfield voter sign-up deadline on Wednesday

GREENFIELD — The last day to register to vote or change address for the upcoming town and special state elections will be Wednesday. The town clerk’s office will be open that day from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The town and special state election will be June 25.

Absentee ballots are now available for both elections. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot June 24 at noon.

Residents may vote by absentee if they will be out of town during polling hours on the day of the election; if they are unable to travel to the polls due to illness or other physical disability; or because of religious beliefs that prevent them from voting at the polls.

Voters may call the town clerk at 413-772-1555, ext. 112 to request an application to vote absentee ballot by mail.
