Greenfield absentee ballots available

GREENFIELD — Absentee ballots for the state election to be held Nov. 6 are now available in the town clerk’s office.

The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is Nov. 5.

Residents may vote at the town clerk’s office until Nov. 5 or may request that an absentee ballot be sent to them by mail.

Voters may vote absentee if they will be out of town during polling hours on election day, if they are unable to travel to the polls due to illness or other physical disability, or for religious beliefs that prevent voting at the polls.

The last day to register to vote or change address is today.

The town clerk’s office will be open today from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The town clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
