GREENFIELD — Police seek the public’s help in the search for a local woman.

Rebecca Streeter, 35, was last seen by her family on Tuesday. She was reported missing on Friday.

Streeter is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 120 to 150 pounds. She wears her curly, sandy blond hair shoulder length.

Streeter has been struggling with the recent death of her young sister, according to police. Her family is concerned for her well being.

Sgt. Daniel McCarthy said police have no reason to believe foul play was involved. She is believed to have left on her own free will.

Streeter left her vehicle, keys and wallet at home, according to police.

McCarthy said a bloodhound was brought in to track Streeter, but it proved fruitless as the dog circled the area of her home. This led police to believe she left in a vehicle, though they said it is still possible that she left on foot.

Anyone with information that may help locate Streeter is asked to call Greenfield dispatch at 773-5411, ext. 2, and ask to speak with a detective.
