SHELBURNE FALLS — The Senior Center is hosting a Mexican picnic on Monday, June 12, on the lawn behind the Arms Library, weather permitting.
Joanne Soroka is making taco salad, quesadillas and Mexican cookies. Nonalcoholic margaritas and pina coladas will be served. The picnic starts at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is $2.50 for those who register by June 8. Call 625-2502. Others pay $4, until the food runs out. If the weather is bad, the event will be held inside the Senior Center.
SHELBURNE FALLS — Have a say in the future of downtown Shelburne Falls. The Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association is hosting a community meeting on Tuesday, June 13, at 6:30 p.m. inside the Village Information Center, at 75 Bridge St.
The purpose is to discuss the village’s “Cultural District” goals and a downtown village study. For more information, call the Business Association at 625-2526.
