Agency seeking new director
$45 for cats, $125 for kittens
The Collaborative for Educational Services, a public agency that provides services and programs for school districts in Franklin and Hampshire counties, is seeking a new executive director.
Joan Schuman, who has led the agency for two decades, will retire at the end of December. The collaborative’s Board of Governors is seeking applications for her successor.
Candidates must have a decade of administrative experience. They must be able to obtain public and private funding, manage a budget, communicate with a board of directors and staff and support the latest technology.
The person who takes the post may soon have to lead the collaborative into uncharted waters. State legislators want to create a statewide network that would link each school district with a collaborative. Collaboratives would serve as a liaison between the state and local school districts.
The Collaborative is based in Northampton. For more information: http://www.collaborative.org/employment/executive-director.
