Greenfield, Dec. 25

10:50 a.m. — Officer assisting a disabled vehicle on the Mohawk Trail where the hood of the vehicle had come unlatched.

12:06 p.m. — General disturbance at Oak Courts where the reporting person states a man has been harassing him, and threatening his life; officers assisting; all quiet on arrival, but found that a former boyfriend and the current boyfriend, had an argument.

3:29 p.m. — Report of a domestic disturbance on Conway Street where an officer found a known woman, who advised she had to put one of the children on time out, for causing a disturbance.

5:25 p.m. — Caller from Conway Street reports his bike was stolen from the garage, a blue/gray Trek 400, mountain type bike.

7:36 p.m. — Reporting person from Prentice Avenue complains her ex has been consistently calling from a bar on Chapman Street this evening, and she wants it to stop; officer made contact with the male involved and the male replied, “whatever, dude.”

Montague, Dec. 25

11:14 a.m. — Domestic disturbance on Fourth Street; under investigation.

8:52l p.m. — Caller from Adams Street says he just got home and found his house was broken into; so far, the missing items seen are large containers of change; officer investigating.

Greenfield, Dec. 26

10:49 a.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Bernardston Road where the caller wanted it on file that she thinks someone may have entered her vehicle. Nothing reported missing.

11:32 a.m. — Accident reported at Solon Street and Mohawk Trail; one vehicle involved; no injuries reported; vehicle towed.

11:44 a.m. — Report of counterfeit money at Greenfield Co-operative Bank.

11:48 a.m. — Accident reported on Leyden Road; single vehicle towed after the driver lost control, and it struck a pole.

11:54 a.m. — Accident at Cheapside and Deerfield streets; two vehicles, no injuries reported, information exchanged.

11:59 a.m. — While an officer was responding to another accident, he came upon a vehicle that slid off the roadway at Montague City Road and Prentice Avenue; with assistance of another motorist, the officer got the vehicle freed.

12:50 p.m. — Accident reported by The Barn on River Street; two vehicles, no injuries reported, information exchanged; minor damage recorded.

1:52 p.m. — Accident reported on French King Highway near Lodge Tire; officer found that the operator made his own arrangements and was able to get the vehicle unstuck

3:13 p.m. — Two-vehicle accident on the Mohawk Trail near Friendly’s; investigation led to arrest of Destiny Marie Klein, 22, of Riverside Drive, Greenfield, arrested on a warrant, and charges of operating with revoked license, uninsured motor vehicle, expired inspection sticker and failure to use care in stopping, starting, turning or backing.

5:30 p.m. — Accident at Cheapside Street where the FRTA bus collided with a car; two BHA units on scene, as precaution, tow truck on scene; under investigation.

6:26 p.m. — Fire reported in a structure on Lincoln Street; officers and Fire Department responding; Turners Falls Fire Department also responding along with Bernardston; BHA to stand by; under control.

6:39 p.m.— Reporting person says that two times today, someone has knocked on his door and then run away.

7:19 p.m. — Caller from Franklin Community Action Corporation offices on Main Street where the reporting person states her wallet was stolen while at work at that location.

9:17 p.m. — Caller from Conway Street reports a domestic in which the reporting person states her mother and her boyfriend are fighting. Investigation led to arrest of Roger Ovitt, 49, of Conway Street, Greenfield, charged with assault and battery, (domestic).

Montague, Dec. 26

1:16 p.m. — Report of accident at Coolidge Avenue and Turners Falls Road with one pickup into a utility pole; driver doesn’t appear to be injured; tow truck summoned; under investigation.

1:20 p.m. — Accident reported at Montague City and Greenfield roads; operators exchanged information and both left under their own power.

1:30 p.m. — A reporting person observed a vehicle strike the stop sign at Montague City and Turnpike roads, and then leave the scene; BOLO issued to Erving Police and they will check the registered owner’s residence.

7:59 p.m. — Officers on Fourth Street at Powertown Apartments to serve a warrant; arrested was James R. Kelley, 24, of Fourth Street, Turners Falls on two default warrants.

10:39 p.m. — Report that a stop sign has been hit at Route 63 and Lyman Street.
