12:29 p.m. — Shoplifting reported on the Mohawk Trail where an employee requests an officer regarding a past incident; video shows a known female and an unknown male, wearing a camo jacket, entered the store together; the female distracted the lone employee and the male stuffed a USB microphone worth $139.99 into his sweatshirt; under investigation.
2:07 p.m. — Accident reported on Main Street, two vehicles involved, no injuries reported, owners exchanged information; officer investigating.
2:16 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Wells Street where the caller says there is a set of footprints in the snow, and they go around her vehicle and then up next to the house; officer sent, and the reporting person was advised.
2:23 p.m. — Caller from Ryan and Casey’s on Main Stret wishes an officer regarding an ongoing issue with an unwanted subject; officer advised them of the options available.
3:10 p.m. — Report of domestic disturbance on Conway Street, officers sent, and advised the people there of options.
3:27 p.m. — Domestic disturbance reported on Aster Court where officer found it had been between boyfriend and girlfriend; a probable cause exists for arrest of the boyfriend for violation of a 209A (no abuse) order and for assault (domestic); the girlfriend will come to the station for emergency modification of existing restraining order.
3:54 p.m. — Caller from Ames Street reports his bike was stolen earlier today in the parking lot there; described as a black and gray “Giant” bicycle, stolen between noon and 3:30 p.m. behind Greenfield Grille; the reporting person will be checking the cameras at his place of employment.
4:36 p.m. — Domestic disturbance on Hope Street where the reporting person states her mother came into her room and attacked her, stating the mother pushed her on the bed and started hitting her; the reporting person’s little sister had to pull the mother off the reporting person. Investigation leads to arrest of Peggy Sue Voudren, 40, of Hope Street, Greenfield. charged with assault and battery (domestic).
4:39 p.m. — Reporting person states she was trying to pick up items from her ex-husband’s home on Adams Road when his new wife pushed her; she requests an officer; the resident there then called stating her boyfriend’s ex-wife just walked into her house unannounced and started yelling at the reporting person and her boyfriend to give her daughter’s belongings to her; officer investigating determined it was a mutual assault and battery, and both people are to complete written statements, and may consider pressing charges against one another; both were advised of options, and a 51A report is to be filed due to a 16-year-old witnessing the incident; report filed.
