Police Logs Dec. 11 - 12

Greenfield, Dec. 11

5:22 p.m. — Reporting person would like to speak with an officer about his child’s mother not being at her residence when he went to visit his daughter for scheduled court visit; officer advised him to pursue this in the probate court that granted the visitations.

5:47 p.m. — Officers on Chapman Street to assist state child welfare officials, and investigation leads to arrest of Felisha L. Lackey, 28, of Chapman Street, Greenfield, charged with possession of Class A drug, to wit, heroin with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate drug laws; also arrested was Todd Howard, 28, of Chapman Street, Greenfield, charged with possession of Class A drug, to wit, heroin, with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

6:15 p.m. — Reporting person states that her brother sent her a text message that her mother is upset with her and she went to a Federal Street location, intoxicated, looking to harm the reporting person; officer found the mother isn’t wanted at her daughter’s residence, as the daughter is concerned her mother will harm her; the mother was at the residence knocking on the door, but departed before police arrived; officers checking the area but unable to locate the mother, who was later located in Montague by police.

6:18 p.m. — Officer requested on Hope Street where the reporting person says her son is a nervous wreck about his sister; the boy told the officer his sister made a statement prior to leaving tonight, saying, “I hope everyone burns in a house fire.” Officer investigating.

6:56 p.m. — Domestic disturbance reported in the area of Federal and Leonard streets where the reporting person stated there is some kind of altercation across the street from Federal Street School, the reporting person stated the female punched the male, and then the female laid down on the ground; but then got up and walked north on Federal; the male stayed where he was, sitting in front of the church there; officer found the male who said his girlfriend is bipolar and is currently manic; another officer was speaking to the female up the street; officers determined it was an argument between boyfriend and girlfriend; both had calmed down and peace was restored.

10:17 p.m. — Domestic situation called in from Aster Court where the caller says the involved male followed her to the door, and pushed his way in to the apartment; he left when she dialed 911; the vehicle he left in was then stopped at Davis and Cleveland streets; the involved male was then taken into custody; arrested Jhims Grand-Pierre, 32, of Forest Avenue, Greenfield, charged with assault (domestic), two charges of violation of an abuse prevention order, one charge of aggravated assault and battery, and one of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

11:25 p.m. — Caller from Wisdom Place would like to speak with an officer regarding one tenant stealing from another tenant; investigation led to arrest of Sean Lavin, 49, of Wisdom Place, Greenfield, charged with larceny over $250.

Montague, Dec. 11

12:19 p.m. — Caller from ServiceNet facility on Central Street requests assistance with a 25-year-old client who had to be put in restraints in the living room of this location; the reporting person will meet the officers on the front porch; officer now advises the subject will be transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center under a Section 12 mental health evaluation, and requests hospital security meet them at the entrance; they were advised.

5:20 p.m. — Domestic disturbance on Fourth Street where the caller reports that from his apartment he can hear a female crying, then heard yelling and what sounded like items being thrown around; officer spoke to the female there who said the male had fled prior to arrival; the female said this was verbal only but he had been throwing things around.

5:27 p.m. — Two-car accident reported on Federal Street at North Leverett Road, one driver complaining of neck pain/injury; no damage on either vehicle; the vehicle operated by the person complaining of neck injury, was moved to North Leverett Road, and the operator was given the keys.

6:06 p.m. — Report from Federal Street from a female that her mother, whom she believes is intoxicated, is at her door and attempting to get into her apartment; the mother is operating a vehicle that was located later; the woman was taken into placed in protective custody, and then released to her son.

9:26 p.m. — Domestic disturbance on Second Street, where the caller says a male and female are fighting; the call was dropped; state police dispatcher advised the female is believed to be pregnant and had a knife; the male was reported bleeding heavily; on call back, the female reported the two people involved have left, headed toward L Street; officers checking the area, but unable to locate. Still under investigation.

Orange, Dec. 11

1:40 p.m. — Larceny reported on Tully Road where the caller says a package was delivered to the wrong address and the person who received it won’t give it back; officer contacted the involved person and he advised he is looking into the incident, and will contact us with further information.

7:10 p.m. — Control got a call that there was possibly a deer that was injured, and is at the back of the property on Tully Road; on arrival the reporting person stated there had not been any noise for the last 15 minutes; the area was monitored for a time and no further noise was heard.

Greenfield, Dec. 12

7:40 a.m. — Accident reported on French King Highway; officers sent, Fire Department also sent. One vehicle involved and rolled over, but the operator was found to be OK; no injuries reported; vehicle was towed; under investigation.

9:50 a.m. — Caller from French King Highway reports finding footprints in her driveway leading around to the back of the house; officer went and observed the prints; report issued.

9:55 a.m. — Report of threat being made at Heather Court; officer spoke with the caller who said he heard through a third person that the subject involved was telling another resident that he was going to beat up the reporting person; he was advised of options.

12:01 p.m. — Accident with injuries reported on Route 91 at the rotary, fire department and heavy rescue sent; two-vehicle accident, BHA advised and officers sent.

12:11 p.m. — Officer assisting BHA with an intoxicated patient with psych issues, on Prospect Street.

12:32 p.m. — Arrested Peter Mitchell, 53, of Congress Street, Greenfield, charged with indecent exposure, operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, and for possessing/having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

1:34 p.m. — Domestic disturbance reported on Hope Street where the caller requests an officer regarding an on-going dispute between several family members; all were at court this morning and the issue remains unresolved; arrested was Samantha Sue Voudren, 22, of Hope Street, Greenfield, charged with two counts of assault and battery, (domestic).

1:45 p.m. — Report of a purse stolen from a cart in the lot at Foster’s Super Market; under investigation.

3:32 p.m. — Report of minor accident in the parking lot of Four Corners School; officer found no injuries reported, and the operators exchanged information.

5:46 p.m. — Officer sent to Rite Aid on Main Street where management believes they have a counterfeit $10 bill; under investigation.

8:15 p.m. — Caller from Harrison Avenue reports someone was in his house while he was gone, and said some small bills are missing; officer investigating.

8:45 p.m. — Officer requested on Conway Street regarding harassment; the caller says it is her daughter getting harassed on Facebook; officer to investigate.

10:33 p.m. — Threat reported on Hope Street where the reporting person says her sister called her, and made comments to the effect that she can’t wait until she feels her pain, and her child gets taken away; officer called the sister and advised her to cease contact with her sister for the remainder of the night, and any further contact could be considered harassment.

Montague, Dec. 12

9:13 a.m. — Report of out-of-control student in the main lobby at the high school; believed to be verbal only; no weapons involved; officers sent, peace was restored; the student was upset because he was being placed into an alternative program; the school has suspended the student for his conduct and contacted his father.
