Regina R. Foster, 23, of Main Street, Colrain, Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, in Deerfield, to be dismissed on payment of $100 court costs. Found not responsible for possessing/having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and marked lane violation.

Greenfield, Nov. 25, Judge William Mazanec

Dwight F. Hoffman, 52, of Federal Street, Montague. Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, amended down from third offense, placed on probation until 11/25/15, with two-year loss of license, $500 fine, and $100 surfine, plus head injury assessment of $250, OUI victim’s assessment of $50, and victim witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the 14-day inpatient drug and alcohol education program, but the fee of $1,050, is waived in this case. Must have no drugs or alcohol, subject to testing/screens, must have Sobrietor equipment installed, and the defendant was ordered held until the Sobrietor can be applied. Must have mental health evaluation according to state law, and take any after care recommended, Pleaded guilty to negligent operation of a motor vehicle, sentenced to 30-days in the house of correction, direct, with credit for time held. Found not responsible for marked lane violation, and speeding. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $65 per month probation supervision fee.

Greenfield, Dec. 2, Judge William Mazanec

Alyssa R. Ciccarelli, 24, of Avenue A, Turners Falls. Admitted to sufficient facts for shoplifting, at F. L. Roberts gas station and store, on Third Street fined $50.

Greenfield, Dec. 3, Judge William Mazanec

Jared S. Ronald, 33, of Amherst Road, Sunderland. Pleaded innocent to assault, threatening to commit a crime, to wit, murder, and malicious destruction of property over $250 value, released on personal recognizance, must have no abuse of the alleged victim. Continued to 1/23/14 for pretrial conference.

Malachi Roman, 21, of Fairview Street West, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to two charges of larceny under $250, and one of larceny over $250, released on personal recognizance, continued to 1/16/14 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, and $100 legal counsel contribution.

Ronald M. Andrews, 69, of West Mountain Road, Bernardston . Placed on pretrial probation until 12/2/14 for violation of an abuse prevention order, and must have no abuse of the victim, and must abide by 209A restraining order.

Joseph M. Auger, 22, of Fourth Street, Turners Falls. Charge of unarmed robbery, was not prosecuted, as, according to a written statement from a counsel on the district attorney’s staff, the commonwealth elects to proceed against the defendant in the district court on this matter. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a shod foot, and disorderly conduct, bail set at $100 cash, continued to 1/6/14 for pretrial conference.

Andrew P. Graves, 27, of River street, Greenfield. Charge of operating with suspended registration, to be dismissed on payment of $25 court costs. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle, dismissed at request of the commonwealth.

Stephen D. Scheufele, 27, of Center Street, Montague. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor, in Greenfield, but continued without a finding until 12/2/14, with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head injury assessment of $250, and victim witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program and pay the fee of $567.22. Must have mental health evaluation according to state law, and take any after care recommended, Found not responsible for marked lane violation, Must pay $65 per month probation supervision fee.

Amanda Holder, 31, of Mohawk Trail, Charlemont. Pleaded guilty to operating with suspended license, in Greenfield by state police, sentenced to 10 days in the house of correction, suspended, placed on probation until 6/3/14 concurrent with probation in another case. Found responsible for miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation, filed with defendant’s consent for six months.

Amanda Holder, 31, of Mohawk Trail, Charlemont. Pleaded guilty to receiving a stolen motor vehicle, sentenced to six-months in the house of correction, suspended, placed on probation until 12/2/14 with $90 victim witness assessment, and must take and complete the restorative probation program. Must provide a DNA sample to the state police data center. Restitution is yet to be determined, Pleaded guilty to second charge of receiving a stolen motor vehicle, and intimidating a witness, and sentenced to the same to six months in the house of correction, on both, and suspended, placed on probation until 12/2/14, with same conditions as in count one. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Charles H. Peterson, 24, of Kettlehole Lane, Montague. Placed on pretrial probation until 3/3/14 for leaving the scene of property damage, and must take and complete the safe driver program and pay the fee. Found not responsible for marked lane violation. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must make a one-time probation supervision fee of $100.

Daniel V. Romanchenko, 20, of Springfield. Charge of possession of unlawful fireworks, in Whately by state police, to be dismissed on payment of $10 court costs.
