Montague, Nov. 20

6:03 p.m. — Report of an assault with a motor vehicle, in area of East Main Street, where the caller says he was arguing with his girlfriend, who got into the reporting person’s vehicle and hit the caller with it twice; this incident was still under investigation at 8:13 p.m. when the female involved came to the station to speak with the investigating officer.

9:17 p.m. — Caller from Fourth Street reports her iPhone has been stolen; she told the officer she left it on the stairway and while she was cleaning the hallway.

Orange, Nov. 20

2:55 p.m. — Report of a two-car crash on East Main Street; Orange Fire Department Ambulance requested and a fire truck for fluid spills. Report taken.

7 p.m. — Officer responded to the sewage treatment facility for traffic control at the scene of a train fire.

8:28 p.m. — Officers arrested Deborah Anne Poole, 46, of East Main Street, on a straight court warrant.

Sunderland, Nov. 20

8:48 a.m. — Report of a vehicle off the road in area of the Gunn Farm; an officer discovered the vehicle was head-on into a tractor-trailer flat-bed on Montague Road; the sedan was operated by a 17-year-old from Lake Pleasant in Montague, but no injuries reported, and no air bag deployment; doesn’t appear to be any damage to the flat bed, but there is front end damage to the car, which was towed; written warning issued for marked lane violation,

9:30 a.m. — Officer assisting Leverett police with an accident, with injury, on Montague Road.

6:20 p.m. — Report of two-car accident, but no injuries reported, and was given as being on Route 116 by Bub’s B-B-Q; one vehicle southbound was rear-ended by second car; written warning issued to the second car for failure to use care in stopping.

Greenfield, Nov. 21

1:52 p.m. — Report from Oak Courts of a 6-year-old out of control, and application made for a Section 12 mental health evaluation; officer remained while ambulance picked up the 6-year-old.

3:12 p.m. — Caller from Wells Street complaining that her boyfriend won’t let her get her stuff to leave; officer spoke with the boyfriend and convinced him to cooperate.

3:12 p.m. — Caller from Greenfield Savings Bank, requesting an officer for an upset customer who says he is on the way to the bank and had made threats on the phone that he was going to hurt someone; officer responded, and services rendered.

3:21 p.m. — Caller from Main Street reports people doing a drug deal in the parking lot at Rite-Aid; officer searched the area but found no one matching the descriptions.

4:18 p.m. — Caller from Frederick Road reports a few men were having a verbal altercation there, but have since left on bicycles; officer to check.

10:24 p.m. — Caller from Wells Street states there is a woman sniffing intoxicants from cans on the front steps of the apartment building, and stated she has been doing it for about an hour; officer to check the status.

Orange, Nov. 21

1:30 a.m. — Domestic disturbance reported on East Myrtle Street where Shelburne Control advised there is a fight between a male and female, but the male left on foot; the female was transported to Athol Memorial Hospital by the Orange Fire Department Ambulance, and the process for applying for an arrest warrant with multiple charges was initiated.

Montague, Nov. 21

2:10 p.m. — Caller from Turners Falls High School requests an officer for a female who just took off from school; officer located her and then turned her over to state Department of Children and Families personnel, whom she was trying to avoid.

2:15 p.m. — Caller from the Food City area states $225 was taken; officers are investigating.

5:31 p.m. — Suspicious activity on Old Stage Road where the caller says her two children were home earlier, playing outside, and saw a red vehicle stop at their driveway and “flip off,” the children; they saw the vehicle move to the neighbor’s house and do the same thing, and then head one house further and do the same.

Sunderland, Nov. 21

4:16 p.m. — Call from a woman in Pennsylvania who reports her 93-year-old mother from North Main Street fell at that residence, and has a head injury; the patient was transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center by Sunderland Ambulance.

4:50 p.m. — New England Health Center requests assistance with a female visitor to be removed from the facility after becoming argumentative with the staff; the female was advised to bring her concerns to the administrator on Friday, and the subject was cooperative, and left.

Montague, Nov. 22

8:44 a.m. — Report of trespassing on Meadow Road where the caller says a hunter came on this property and shot a turkey. Environmental Police with Erving Police went to the hunter’s residence issued a citation.
