Orange, March 31, Judge David S. Ross

Paula Materas, 50, of Pleasant Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to two charges of assault and battery on a police officer, and one of resisting arrest, released on personal recognizance, continued to 5/9/14 for pretrial conference.

Joshua W. Nawotny, 232, of Mountain Laurel Road, Wendell. Pleaded innocent to vandalizing property, in Orange, released on personal recognizance, continued to 5/9/14 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours community service.

Jessica M. Benoni, 19, of Forest Street, Erving. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery, and threatening to commit a crime, to wit, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, bail request delayed to 4/4/14, continued to 5/9/14 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours community service.

Danielle N. Walsh, 20, of Eagleville Road, Orange. Charge of conspiracy to violate drug laws, in Athol, was not prosecuted, as, according to a written statement from a counsel on the district attorney’s staff, the commonwealth can’t prove all elements of the offense charged. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, and $150 legal counsel contribution.

James A. Snow, 47, of Beacon Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to possession of Class B drug, to wit, oxycodone, subsequent offense, operating with suspended license, subsequent offense, failure to wear a seat belt, and failing to notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles of name or address change, bail set at $300 cash or $3,000 surety, continued to 5/9/14 for pretrial conference.

Robert L. LeBlanc, 45, of Royalston. Charge of violation of miscellaneous municipal ordinance or by law, to wit, failure to remove abandoned motor vehicle in Orange, dismissed prior to arraignment.

Robert W. Ellis, 21, of Packard Road, Orange, Pleaded innocent to failure to drive in the right lane, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, released on personal recognizance, continued to 5/5/14 for pretrial conference.

Greenfield, March 24, Judge William Mazanec

Chad R. James, 35, of Crescent Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery, three charges of larceny over $250, two charges of breaking into a depository, and one charge of malicious destruction of property over $250 value, must have no abuse of the alleged victim, and must have no drugs and subject to screens, bail set at $300 cash, or $3,000 surety, continued to 4/23/14 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, March 31, Judge William Mazanec

Miki Miyazaki, 31, of Federal Street, Montague. Pleaded innocent to malicious destruction of property over $250 value, larceny over $250, breaking and entering into a building in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, and possession of a burglarious instrument, in Greenfield, released on personal recognizance, Must have no drugs, subject to screens, and must participate in the Hoist program as ordered by probation department, continued to 5/13/14 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, April 1, Clerk Magistrate Kenneth Chaffee

Joshua T. Johnston, 31, of Ashfield Road, Buckland. Pleaded innocent to operating with suspended license, in Shelburne, released on personal recognizance, continued to 5/5/14 for pretrial conference.

Joeliut Perez, 27, of Springfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for receiving stolen property under $250, in Greenfield, but continued without a finding until 8/1/14, with $50 court costs. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours community service. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Jose Rodriguez, 25, of Holyoke. Pleaded innocent to violation of an abuse prevention order, in Montague, released on personal recognizance, continued to 5/8/14 for pretrial conference.

Cyerra T. Weimer, 19, of Day’s Inn, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to possession of Class A drug, to wit, heroin, and conspiracy to violate drug laws, in Whately by state police, bail set at $100 cash.

Christopher McCracken, 26, listed as homeless, of Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for assault and battery, sentenced to one year in the house of correction, 60 days direct, balance suspended, placed on probation until 3/15/15, with credit for time served. Admitted to sufficient facts for intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official, with same sentence as in preceding case, plus $90 victim witness assessment, and concurrent with count one. Charge of attempted murder, dismissed at request of the commonwealth. Must stay 50 yards away from and have no contact with the victims, must abide by 209A restraining order, and the defendant may obtain belongings if the 209A allows it. Must provide a DNA sample to the state police data center. Must pay $65 per month probation supervision fee.

Richie R. Bauza, 22, of Federal Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to leaving the scene of property damage, released on personal recognizance, continued to 5/6/14 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Charlie C. Murphy, 22, of Wells Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to possession of Class A drug, to wit, heroin, released on personal recognizance, advised of right to a drug examination.
