Warwick rabies clinic set for Saturday

WARWICK — The town will hold a rabies clinic from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the fire station.

Rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs will cost $15, and distemper shots will be available for $20, as will vaccinations for Lyme disease and bordatella. Heartgard medication will also be on sale, as will Activyl flea and tick treatment.

Town Clerk Jeannette Fellows will be on hand to license dogs. Licenses are $5 for spayed or neutered dogs, and $10 for intact males and females. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required.

All dogs must be on leashes, and cats must be brought in crates. Residents are encouraged to bring donations for the animal control officer’s “doggie jail.”
