North Orange Holly Fair set for Saturday
The Community Church of North Orange and Tully is getting ready to welcome the holiday season with the Holly Fair on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The church is located on 4 Creamery Hill Road in North Orange next to Goddard Park
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be upstairs to visit with the children from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring your own camera if you want a picture with the Clauses.
Coffee and pastry will be available to start the morning off along with a luncheon served downstairs of homemade soup, sandwiches and hot dogs, along with assorted homemade pies, and chocolate and caramel lattes.
The dining room downstairs is handicapped accessible.
Upstairs there will be a center-table tin-can raffle for $2 a sheet of over 20 tickets or 3 sheets for $5.
There will also be a special raffle with gift certificates from local businesses for $25 or more, $1 a ticket or chance or six tickets for $5.
For kids and adults, there will be a Pop-A-Win game for a chance to pop a balloon and win a prize for $1 a pop.
A handmade tied quilt for a full-sized bed in shades of fushia will be raffled off. Tickets are $1 for one ticket or 6 for $5.
All raffle drawings will take place at 1:30 p.m.
A large assortment of homemade cookies will be available downstairs during the cookie walk, where you can fill a small box for $4, or a large box for $7.
You’ll find an assortment of homemade candies, handmade gift items, partridgeberry bowls, Christmas decorations and Christmas wreaths for sale for $10 each. They will be at the entrance outdoors.
