Mohawk board sees changes  to membership

SHELBURNE FALLS —The Mohawk Trail Regional School District Committee recently lost two of its 17 school board members and has welcomed a new member.

Karen Sullivan of Ashfield recently stepped down, because of time constraints after taking a new job. Poppy Doyle, a retired Ashfield teacher, has been appointed to fill Sullivan’s seat. Doyle is a former Finance Committee member.

Also, Winston Healy of Charlemont, who was appointed to the School Committee seat this summer, stepped down due to health issues.
