Season Pass: Purchase or renew your season pass to the Green River Swimming & Recreation Area by May 1 to receive the early bird special of four free guest passes and a coupon for a free popcorn and soda.
Tee Ball: Tee Ball registration is open. Tee Ball is for ages 5 to 7 (must be age 5 at the start of the program). Players will learn fundamental skills and good sportsmanship through confidence building drills and activities along with scrimmages. Saturdays, May 3 to June 7, 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Lunt Fields. Cost $30 residents, $35 nonresidents. Volunteer coaches needed.
Smart Baseball: Sign up today for Start Smart Baseball. Start Smart Baseball is for children ages 3 to 5 and teaches the basic skills necessary to play organized baseball while spending time with their parents. All participants leave with their own baseball kit. Tuesdays, May 13 to June 17, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Greenfield Swim Area. Residents $45; nonresidents, $50.
Tennis Program: Sign up for the department’s free Learn to Play Tennis Program. Sessions scheduled for June 1, 2 to 3:30 p.m., and June 4, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Come learn the basic techniques to play and score tennis. Thanks to the department’s volunteer instructors and Youth Tennis Grants, all participants completing one or both sessions receives a tennis racquet and can of tennis balls.
