Get a family portrait and help the United Way
GREENFIELD — Want to get a family portrait and at the same time help the local United Way charity drive?
Baystate Franklin Medical Center’s Employee United Way Campaign Committee is sponsoring a Family Portrait Opportunity at Hallmark Institute of Photography to raise money for the United Way of Franklin County.
The portrait date is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Institute on Industrial Blvd., off Millers Falls Road in Turners Falls.
Sittings will be scheduled on 15-minute intervals, with students from Hallmark Institute taking the portraits. There is a $25 sitting fee, which must be paid before a reservation can be confirmed. For families that require longer than 15 minutes, the fee will be $40. Various photo packages as well as additional prints and merchandise will be available through Hallmark’s Internet ordering site. All sitting fees and proceeds from photo enlargement sales will be donated to the United Way.
Families can include well-behaved pets, on a leash or in a small cage, in their portraits.
For more information or to schedule a sitting, contact Katie Murphey at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, 413-773-2254.
