SARASOTA, FL — Former Greenfield, MA, residents Harold and Norma Lapointe will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Sunday, May 19, 2013. The couple was married in Norfolk, VA, during WWII. They lived in Greenfield where Lapointe was a commercial artist and his wife a homemaker. They raised four children: two daughters, Jane Kosterman of South Deerfield, MA, and Susan Payne of Winter Springs, FL, and two sons, John and William, both of Sarasota. The Lapointes moved to Florida in 1970 and reside at 2711 Kilgore PL, Sarasota, FL 34235. The couple have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Harold enjoys painting as a hobby and … 0

COLRAIN — Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Slowinski of Colrain announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Marie, to John Brian Schatz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Schatz of Acton. Ms. Slowinski is a 2001 graduate of Mohawk Trail Regional High School and a 2005 graduate of Wheelock College.
