Nicole C. Guertin — Robert H. Haigh Jr.
Nicole C. Guertin and Robert H. Haigh Jr., both of Orange, were married Dec. 21, 2012 in Cummaquid.
The bride is the daughter of Peter and Elaine Guertin of Orange. The groom is the son of Robert and Nancy Haigh of Orange.
The 4 p.m. sunset wedding and reception took place at the Harbor Point Restaurant on Barnstable Harbor on Cape Cod. The ceremony was performed by Jennifer Roche, friend of the bride and groom. The bride was given in marriage by her dad. Musician was Stephanie Parker, pianist.
Attending the bride was Christy Ramsdell, friend of the bride, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Kovacevic, Amy King, Allie Thompson, Jessica Billiel, Merryl Raubeson, all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Dylan and Bayley Remage-Healy, nieces of the groom.
Duncan Remage-Healey, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Dan Guertin, brother of the bride; Chad Softic, Michael Strong, John Prendergast and Jake Morris, friends of the groom.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to El Dorado Casitas Royale, Riviera Mayo, Mexico. They are making their home in Orange.
The bride graduated from Mahar Regional High School; a summa cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, Waltham, and earned a MSW from Smith College School of Social Work, Northampton. She is supervisor of Crisis Services of North Quabbin Regional Office for Clinical Support Options.
The groom also is a graduate of Mahar Regional High School and earned a BS from Western New England College. He is the police chief for the Town of Orange.
The bride will use the name Nicole Haigh.
