Stephanie L. Adams – Brian C. Winslow

Stephanie L. Adams and Brian C. Winslow of Bernardston were married Sept. 24, 2011.

The bride is the daughter of Susan Adams of Bernardston and the late Stephen Adams.

The groom is the son of George and Katherine Winslow of Greenfield.

The 2 p.m. ceremony took place at All Souls Church, Main Street, Greenfield, with Justice of the Peace Dennis Helmus officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Stephen Adams. A homily was done by Richard Weissman, close friend of the couple. Readers were Jennifer Adams, sister-in-law of the bride, and Michael Foster, uncle of the groom. Music was provided by Jamie Goodnow, pianist.

Stacie Splittgerber, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Winslow and Emily Winslow, sisters of the groom, and Meredith Leach and Ashley Dufraine, friends of the bride. Ring princess was Madison Adams and flower princess was Hannah Splittgerber, both nieces of the bride.

Kyle Cogswell, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Peter Winslow, brother of the groom; Jeffrey Baehe, Patrick Mignault and Thomas Thompson, friends of the groom.

The reception was held at Dalem’s Chalet in Brattleboro, Vt., with DJ Christopher Brown of Brownie’s Mobile Entertainment providing music.

The bride wore her mother’s veil and the groom wore his grandfather’s cuff links that were worn at his wedding.

The newlyweds are making their home in Northfield.

The bride graduated in 2002 from Pioneer Valley Regional School, Northfield, and in 2009 from Vermont Technical College with an associate’s degree. She is an emergency room registered nurse at Baystate Medical Center.

The groom graduated in 2001 from Greenfield High School, in 2005 from Westfield State University with a bachelor’s degree and earned his master’s degree in 2010 from Fitchburg State University. He is a special education teacher and baseball coach at Franklin County Technical School, Turners Falls.

The bride will use the name Stephanie Winslow.
