Miller — 50th

BERNARDSTON — Pat and Stan Miller of Bernardston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 19 at the Montague Elks in Turners Falls.

The surprise anniversary party was given by Sharon and Randy Miller and Rodney Miller.

The couple have two sons, Randy Miller of Turners Falls and Rodney Miller of Erving; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Miller and the former Pat Croteau were married in Holy Trinity Church, Greenfield, June 13, 1964, by the Rev. Raphael Posco.

The Millers are both retired.

Original members of the wedding party who attended the event: Phillip Croteau, godfather of the bride, walked her down the aisle. Best man was Roger Hall and Tommy Evans served as groomsman. Bridesmaids were Linda (Miller) Hall and Georgeann (Croteau) Cardaropoli, the bride’s sister. Flower girl was Debbie (Streeter) Gale, niece of the bride, Charles Streeter, Jr., nephew of the bride.

Pat and Stan Miller would like to thank everyone for the surprise 50th anniversary party held at Turners Falls Elks Lodge with music by Bobby C on April 19 and to Kim Barnes who made the anniversary cake. If it had not been early, we might have suspected something. It will be a memorable occasion and we wanted to Thank You for sharing it with us.
