Julie Jeanne Encarnacao and Joshua Thomas Henderson of 83 Coleman Road, London, England, were married Oct. 18, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Arthur and Jeanne Encarnacao of Greenfield, Mass.
The groom is the son of the Rev. Tom and Sue Henderson of Temple, Texas.
The ceremony took place at the Smith Family Chapel, Austin, Texas, with the Rev. Tom Henderson, father of the groom, officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Readers were Sarah Pike and Cali Webber. Chapel musicians were the Terra Vista Strings. Singers were Sara and Stacy Henderson, sister of the groom.
Christine O’Neill, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids, were Cathryn Doyle, sister of the bride; Clare Bolton, Kristen Peterson, and Heather Gascoigne, friends. Flower girls were Camryn Doyle and Brooke O’Neill, nieces of the bride.
Kyle Johnson, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ewen Legg, James Ronai, Paul Baskill and Nick Newman, friends. Ring bearer was Brody Doyle, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at the Barr Mansion and Artisan Ballroom in Austin, TX. Musicians at the reception were the Groove Knights; a mariachi band entertained during the cocktail hour.
The wedding party was transported by trolley from the church to the reception.
Guests attended from Massachusetts and England, as well as several other states and countries.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to St. Lucia. They are making their home in London, England.
The bride graduated from Greenfield High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Denver. She is employed by Ernst and Young LLP in London as senior tax manager.
The groom graduated from Temple High School, earned bachelor and master degrees in accounting from the University of Texas, Austin. He is employed by Citibank-EMEA as country tax counsel.
The bride will use the name Julie Henderson.
