Emily G. Bompastore — Christopher A. Sgro
Emily Giovannina Bompastore and Christopher Adam Sgro of Nashua, N.H., were married April 6, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Cynthia Bompastore of Greenfield and the granddaughter of Dominick and Janice Lepore and Gelio Bompastore, all of Greenfield.
The groom is the son of Michael and Karen Sgro of Nashua and the grandson of Phyllis King of Medford.
The 2 p.m. ceremony took place in Immaculate Conception Parish, Nashua, with the Rev. Eric Delisle officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Readers were the father of the bride and aunt and godmother of the bride, Diane Siegel.
Attending the bride was Aly Zagame, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were cousins of the bride, Brandis Kersner, Meghan Murphy and Brady Merrigan; sisters-in-law, Angela Bompastore and Leslie Sgro, and friend of the bride, Heather Golosh. Flower girl was Caris Ann Kersner.
Best man was the brother of the groom, David Sgro. Groomsmen/ushers were friends of the groom: Brian Bradshaw, Ryan and Charles Donnelly, Michael Bradford and Jeffrey Gibson, and brothers of the bride, Brian and Jacob Bompastore. Ring bearer was Vincenzo Bompastore, nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at the Granite Rose in Hampstead, N.H. Music at the reception was provided by Get Down Tonight.
The ring bearer’s pillow and flower girl’s basket were made by aunts of the bride.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Sandel’s Resort, St. Lucia. They will continue to make their home in Nashua.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Newbury College in Brookline. She is a preschool teacher at Little Sprouts in Lowell.
The groom earned a bachelor of science in business administration (BSBA) degree from Suffolk University in Boston. He is a services consultant for SuccessFactors.
