Emily Rose Featherman Berlin and Charles Gregory Lamunyan of Portland, Oregon., were married Sept. 2, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Joan Featherman and Edward Berlin of Greenfield.
The groom is the son of Marie and Gary Lamunyan of Beaverton, Ore.
The 4 p.m. ceremony took place in a meadow overlooked by snow-capped Mt. Hood, Parkdale, Ore. Officiants were the brothers of the bride and groom: Mike Berlin and Rob Lamunyan.
Emily and Greg were each accompanied down the aisle by their parents.
Readers were Nancy Featherman, aunt of the bride, and Hal Johansen, grandfather of the groom.
The reception was held at Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast in Parkdale.
In this unique and magical setting, with fields of flowers, perfect temperatures, and Mt. Hood under a bright blue sky, family and guests enjoyed lawn games, delicious Oregon food and drink, and a lively and joyful celebration of Emily and Greg’s love.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Kauai, Hawaii. They are making their home in Portland, Ore.
The bride graduated from Greenfield High School in 2002 and in 2006 from American University in Washington, D.C., earning a BA in communication. She is the director of marketing for the Portland Timbers, a Major League soccer team.
The groom graduated from Southridge High School in Beaverton, Ore., in 2002 and earned a BS in geography from Portland State in 2010. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2004-2008, achieving the rank of sergeant. He is employed and licensed as a real estate appraiser in Portland.
The bride will use the name Emily Lamunyan.
