March 1 deadline to apply for Greenfield Garden Club grants

GREENFIELD—The Greenfield Garden Club is offering small grants to any teacher, school or organization that works with children in any Franklin County and wants to create a project that involves gardening, plant science, ecology or related subjects.

The deadline for the club to receive proposals is midnight, March 1. No late proposals will be accepted. In the past, grants from $50 to $200 have been awarded.

Proposals must include:

∎ The project title, your name and contact information, the school or organization name and address.

∎ Project details, including how the project will be accomplished.

∎ The number of children and community members who will benefit.

∎ The projected cost and whether or not you are seeking money from other organizations.

Proposals cannot be longer than three pages. Award checks will be mailed the first week of April.
