Fire district water bills due Monday
SHELBURNE FALLS — The Shelburne Falls Fire District has mailed shut-off notices for unpaid water bills, which are due on Monday, and are payable at the office at 121 State St. by 3 p.m. that day. Payment must be with money order, bank check or cash.
Shutoffs will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday for any unpaid accounts. Anyone with questions should call the office weekdays at 413-625-6392.
Also, Fire District real estate tax bills have been mailed and are due by Nov. 15.
Shelburne Cultural Council gets new members
SHELBURNE — Former Recorder publisher Kay Berenson and Boswell’s Books co-owner Nancy Eisenstein are the town’s newest Cultural Council members. They were appointed to the Council Monday night by selectmen.
Hawley second-qtr. taxes due by Nov. 1
HAWLEY — Second-quarter taxes are due by Nov. 1, and these tax bills were mailed out in late June, along with first-quarter bills. If you have misplaced your bill, call the Town Office at 413-339-5518, or call the tax collector at 413-339-4231.
