Wolfram takes Deerfield selectman seat
DEERFIELD — In an uncontested race, David Wolfram became the town’s newest selectman at Monday’s special town election.
Wolfram, 60, received 93 percent of the vote. He received 96 of 103 votes. The other seven votes were for write-in candidates.
The Deerfield native fills the seat vacated by Elizabeth Clarke, who resigned from the three-year post in May after serving two years.
Though it was a rare special town election, only 2.9 percent of registered voters turned out.
There are 3,563 registered voters.
