Florence Savings Bank may open branch in Greenfield
GREENFIELD — Florence Savings Bank has purchased the property at 235 Federal St., which once housed a Midas Muffler garage, and its marketing director says it is considering a “possible future expansion,” but does not have a time frame at this point.
Monica Curhan, the bank’s senior vice president and marketing director, said the bank does not have any branches in Greenfield, but does have a loan office at 116 Federal St.
The bank also installed an outdoor ATM at the corner of Main Street and Bank Row a couple of months ago.
According to a quitclaim deed filed with the Franklin County Registry of Deeds, Kyprea LLC of Indiana sold the property to Florence Savings Bank for $425,000. The sale was finalized on June 28.
Curhan said she has no other information at this time.
