4 Rivers rallies for ultimate win

Four Rivers Charter School rallied from a halftime deficit to beat Northfield Mount Hermon School, 15-12, in a boys’ ultimate game Wednesday in Greenfield.

Jack Conant scored a crucial point late in the contest and collected a pair of assists, while Kai DeLorenzo recorded five assists for the Otters.

Four Rivers (13-6) hosts its annual tournament on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at Greenfield Community College.


Pathfinder 18, FC Tech 6 (6) — Jenna Maska hurled a one-hitter and sparked two big rallies to help Pathfinder Vocational High School defeat Franklin County Technical School, 18-6, in a six-inning Tri-County League softball game on Wednesday in Three Rivers.

Maska smacked an RBI double to highlight a five-run second inning and give the Pioneers a 6-1 lead. She then ripped a two-run double during a six-run fourth to break the game open at 15-4.

Maska struck out 15 and walked six in the complete-game win.

Makayla Coburn’s RBI single in the opening inning was the Eagles’ only hit.

Franklin Tech is scheduled to host High School of Commerce on Friday at 4.
