Rose property to have wetlands reviewed
CONWAY — The town will get its long awaited wetlands delineation of the Rose property today.
The Planning Board has recruited Emily Stockman, a professional wetlands expert, to do a delineation on the 11-acre cornfield to determine where wetlands are located and determine how and if the town can work around them for future development projects.
The field off Shelburne Falls Road has been eyed by many town boards and committees for possible site development for projects such as senior housing, soccer fields, or a municipal complex. The wetlands delineation will help determine if any of the proposals are feasible.
