GREENFIELD — The man who ran Bella Notte Ristorante in Bernardston for more than a decade has opened a new Italian-American restaurant inside the Country Club of Greenfield on Country Club Road.

Abaz Cecunjanin announced in December that he would close Bella Notte, which sat atop Hucklehill Road in Bernardston and provided diners spectacular views of the valley for years, to take on the challenge of opening a year-round restaurant in the country club.

Cecunjanin is now managing Terrazza Ristorante at the Country Club, which provides a different kind of view for diners — a rolling green golf course with hills as a backdrop. His brothers Ermin and Erdin will be the restaurant’s executive chefs.

Terrazza will be open to club members and the public seven days a week, serving breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and lunch and dinner seven days.

The club currently has a seasonal full liquor license and is working on making it a year-round one.

The main dining room seats 70, with a smaller, more private dining room seating 30, and a pavilion seating 165.

Breakfast prices range from between $2.95 and $3.50 for eggs and toast to between $7.85 and $8.95 for eggs Benedict. The restaurant also serves European crepes, said Cecunjanin.

Breakfast is served between 7 and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Lunches, which are served from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, range in price from $6.99 to about $11.99. The restaurant’s sandwich and burger menu is available from lunch until closing.

Dinners are served from 4 to 10 p.m. and prices range from $6.99 to $30.

Terrazza also offers a children’s menu with prices that range from $3.99 to $6.99.

Cecunjanin said it is the first time in the country club’s 117-year history that its restaurant has been open to the public.
