Letter: House’s origins

I believe the house that was just sold in Old Deerfield by the church was moved from Deerfield Street.

There definitely was a house across the road from Auto Salvage which was disassembled, the beams numbered by the contractor, and re-assembled in Old Deerfield. The current house on the lot was erected before the disassembly so the owner (a Mrs. Radavich) had a place to live. This was over 50 years ago as I was too young to understand the significance or ask any questions.

That particular house had some animal stalls and other sheds, which were attached, and possibly porches, which were not moved. So when assembled in Deerfield, it looked quite different.

This may be of interest to some historian type. And someone could have mine for a mere half a million.
