Nominations open for GCC Distinguished Alumni award
Deadline set for March 1
GREENFIELD — Greenfield Community College is looking for nominations for its 2013 Distinguished Alumni Award.
To be eligible for nomination, the nominee must have earned 15 credit hours at GCC or earned a degree or certificate, made “substantial contributions to the good of his/her fellow human beings or be recognized as an outstanding practitioner of his/her profession or vocation, and/or served as a motivational force for others in a positive manner.”
Nominations will be reviewed by a group of GCC faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. The winner will be honored at the GCC Scholarship Awards Ceremony on May 5.

Deb Klein, a 1979 alumnus, of Greenfield, is co-chair of the Distinguished Alumni Award Committee. She is joined by Alden Booth, Jeanne Dodge, Bill Fitzpatrick, Sandra Lively and Pete Ruggeri.
