Letter: He’ll be missed
Warren Peters has been a fixture at the Franklin Hampshire Career Center for almost 30 years. I had the pleasure of working with him for about 7 years, specifically, I processed unemployment claims with him for 2 years. I have to tell you, he might have had one of the most difficult jobs in Franklin County. There are not many positions that have a line of 30-plus people deep waiting for them at the door each morning. He has been a tireless worker and he went out of his way every single day to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve issues that customers were having. Warren always kept in mind that these checks were an essential lifeline for many.
This letter is to just give him a public “Thank You” for all of his service. He has been a rock to those in need of tackling the very complex and frustrating state unemployment system. Happy retirement and you deserve a rest!
