Letter: Saying goodbye

As my freshman term comes to an end, I want to thank you for allowing me to be your representative in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. As of Jan. 2, 2013, I will no longer be serving Greenfield because of redistricting. Greenfield was instrumental in winning my first campaign and I have thoroughly enjoyed working together on behalf of all the citizens of Greenfield and the entire 2nd Franklin District. We have learned together and have made a difference.

Greenfield will always be in my heart and I am grateful for having the chance to learn about and to serve you. I will carry these lessons and relationships forward as we continue to build our region together.

Rep. Paul Mark is a good leader and friend and will serve you well. I enjoy working with Rep. Mark and we will continue to work together on behalf of western Massachusetts.

Let us continue to “Do our little bit of good where we are; it’s those little bits of good put together that change the world.” —Desmond Tutu

I wish you the best for the new year! Be blessed and be a blessing.

DENISE ANDREWS

State Representative 2nd Franklin District
