Letter: Romney’s clear view
While governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Romney championed the health care bill that inspired the current program affectionately labeled “Obamacare” by grateful citizens.
During the first debate, Mr. Romney praised the Democrats in congress during his tenure because they studied the health bill and realized the tremendous benefit it would bring to all residents of Massachusetts. As a result, an overwhelming majority of Democrats voted for the bill, and it passed.
Mr. Romney made it perfectly clear that the current majority of Republicans in Congress, most of whom have signed a pledge to ignore the good of their constituents by denying any cooperation with the administration, should be swept out of office and replaced with thoughtful and ethical members.
