Letter: The real Brown
Sen. Scott Brown was recently endorsed by the Massachusetts Citizens for Life, an organization whose extreme anti-choice values stand in direct opposition to those Brown claims to hold himself.
Scott Brown calls himself pro-choice, yet he’s voted to curb women’s reproductive rights on 80 percent of the choice-related votes he’s made as a senator — that’s four out of five. Each of those four votes sought to take away the ability for women to access family planning and abortion services — one even allowed for employers to strip women’s health insurance coverage of birth control, vaccines and prenatal care.
Massachusetts Citizens for Life consider Scott Brown a senator who votes against choice, and with his record, who could argue with them? He can call himself pro-choice until he’s blue in the face, but his actions speak for themselves.
