Victoria Bar gets past TF Pizza in Co-Rec
Ben Banash went 2-for-2 with a home run and The Victoria Bar defeated Turners Falls Pizza House, 13-10, in a Greenfield Co-Rec Adult Softball League game at Hillside Park Friday in Greenfield.
Maura Crossman, Zariah Crossman and Justin Mickiewicz each went 3-for-4 in the win.
Mark Kosloski hit two doubles and a triple in the loss, and Josylen Dennett went 2-for-2 with three RBIs.
• Elsewhere, Tom Devine went 3-for-3 on Friday night to lead Brad’s Place to a 23-4 win over OPT/The Body Shoppe.
Alyssa Shepherd went 4-for-5 in the win. Jake Conway finished 3-for-3 in the loss, and Ben Johnson went 2-for-3.
• Also Friday, Jason Sikorski went 3-for-4 with a home run, triple and four RBIs and the Hot-L Warren beat Team Allure, 16-2, at Green River Park.
Kelsey O’Brien went 4-for-4 for Hot L, and Chuck Verderosa finished 3-for-3.
Chris Arsenault went 3-for-3 to pace Allure, and Jamie Poremba added a hit.
Frontier U14 wins
Alexa Boyden finished with four hits and one RBI and was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle as Frontier defeated Springfield, 18-10, in a Suburban League 14 and under softball game Thursday night at Greenleaf Park in Springfield.
Lauren McDonald tripled, singled and drove in a run, and Camille Allie added two hits and one RBI. Katie Devine singled and plated three runs, Georgia Quesnelle singled, and Ella Deane earned the win.
• On Wednesday Frontier downed Southwick, 7-6, as Ava Harper singled home Hannah Leclair in the bottom of the seventh inning at Zabek Field in South Deerfield.
LeClair finished with a single and a double in the win, and Harper collected two hits and two RBIs. Lauren McDonald struck out two in the complete-game win.
Frontier (2-3) hosts Turners Falls Monday at 6.
Franklin County Hoop Clinic
The 17th annual Franklin County Hoop Clinic with John Hickey and Angelo Thomas will run from July 21-25 at Greenfield Middle School.

Orange Basketball Camp
The second session of the Orange Recreation Basketball Camp will take place from July 14 to 18.
The 10-counselor staff gives instruction, drills and individualized attention to campers and the camp runs from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. every day. Camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 4-9 this fall.

Senators Road Race
The eighth annual Senators Road Race will be held July 26 at Mahar Regional School in Orange.
Entry fee is $15 per person for the 5-kilometer race. Registration forms are available at Trail Head and the Athol YMCA.
