Letter: Give Wainstein a chance

We met Rob Wainstein in 2009, shortly after moving to Greenfield. He helped introduce us to the community and as he did so we could see and feel his love for this town. He puts his money where his mouth is; he was president of the board of the New England Learning Center for Women in Transition, the past president of the Massachusetts Justice Project and was on the board of directors of the Franklin County Community Health Center for years. Rob worked his way through law school and is now a practicing attorney. He has been very helpful to us as our attorney. We know him as an energetic and compassionate advocate. We have read his list of what he hopes to accomplish when he is elected to Council and what we see there is someone who really cares about the vibrancy and success of this community, someone who puts people first, someone who will work well with current council members to ensure the future of Greenfield. We urge the residents of Precinct 5 to turn out in force to vote for Rob Wainstein on June 10.
