Greenfield absentee ballots available through Monday

GREENFIELD — Absentee ballots are available for the town’s preliminary election for Precinct 5 town councilor, which will be held Tuesday .

The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is Monday by noon.

Residents may vote at the town clerk’s office in Town Hall until April 14 at noon or may request an absentee ballot by mail.

Residents may vote by absentee ballot if they will be out of town during polling hours on Tuesday, are unable to travel to the polls because of illness or other physical disabilities, or because of religious beliefs that prevent voting at polls.

The clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on how to apply for an absentee ballot, call the town clerk at 413-772-1555, ext. 112.
