John Lepore to speak at Bernardston church

BERNARDSTON — John Lepore, a retired Pioneer Valley Regional School science teacher, will describe the process of doing a professional land and resource use plan for the PVRS site on Sunday, 11:30 a.m., at the 1739 Bernardston Meetinghouse, 49 Church St., across from the Sunoco station. Coffee will be at 11.

Churches host Lenten Series in West County

All are invited to attend a series of Lenten services in five different churches. There will be simple suppers beginning at 6 p.m. with the services following at 7 p.m. Ministers from the varying churches will lead the services using Lenten scriptures in a variety of approaches. Locations are as follows: March 13, Trinity Church in Shelburne Falls; March 20, Charlemont Federated Church in Charlemont; March 27, Mary Lyon Church in Buckland; April 3, Shelburne Center Congregational Church Fellowship Hall; April 10, Ashfield Congregational UCC. St. John’s Episcopal will also be participating.

Unity begins series of lessons on book, ‘A New Earth’

GREENFIELD — Eckhart Tolle’s book, “A New Earth,” will be the subject matter for the Sunday lessons for the next seven weeks at Unity in the Pioneer Valley, 6 Arch St. The Rev Bill Heller will present the material. There will be time for questions and discussion.

Medium/psychic fair today

LAKE PLEASANT — There will be a Medium/Psychic Fair at The National Spiritual Alliance, 2 Montague St., today, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Private readings, Reiki and spiritual healings will be available.
