Eric Kuharich joins People’s United

SPRINGFIELD — People’s United Bank announced today that Eric J. Kuharich has joined the bank as vice president, sales manager for Massachusetts, responsible for the bank’s residential mortgage origination business.

Kuharich brings 12 years of residential mortgage sales experience, most recently at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where he managed a team of 20 originators in eastern Massachusetts.

“We are pleased to welcome Eric to our organization and look forward to his leadership in Massachusetts”, said Timothy P. Crimmins, Jr., Massachusetts president. “His years of experience in this field make him uniquely qualified to lead our team in driving sales, growth and strategic initiatives for residential mortgages in the bank’s Massachusetts region.”

Kuharich is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, with a degree in Business Administration. An active member of his community, he is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Metrowest/Worcester, Holliston Food Pantry, and Mission Possible in Holliston. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association.
